Shi Tao is an associate professor at the School of Archaeology and Museology, Sichuan University. His research interests include pre-Qin archaeology, archaeological theory, archaeobotany, and pottery analysis. He has published many papers in journals such as "Archaeology and Cultural Relics," "South China Ethnic Minorities Archaeology," ArchaeologicalResearch in Asia, Asian Perspectives: TheJournal of Archaeology for Asia and thePacific, etc., and has led or participated in a number of national and other projects.
