Zhou Xinying is a researcher at the Institute of Vertebrate Paleontology and Paleoanthropology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, an excellent member of the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a member of the China Quaternary Research Association, a member of the Archaeological Science Research Association, and a director of the Chinese Society of Vertebrate Paleontology. He is mainly engaged in the research of agricultural origins and early civilization exchange, terrestrial vegetation and ecosystem evolution. As the first/corresponding author, he has published more than 30 papers in journals such as Nature Plants, Science Bulletin, Journal of Genetics and Genomics, Catena, and Quaternary Science Review, with more than 3200 citations.
