About the Speaker: Di Baofeng is a professor at Sichuan University, an academic and technical leader in Sichuan Province, and the director of the Geoarchaeology Laboratory at the Center for Archaeological Science, Sichuan University. His main research interests lie in the interdisciplinary exploration of geography, environmental science, and archaeology using remote sensing (RS), geographic information systems (GIS), machine learning (ML), and other technical means in the fields of comprehensive disaster reduction, community resilience, and geoarchaeology. He has presided over more than 20 scientific research projects, including the National Key R&D Program's "Intergovernmental International Scientific and Technological Innovation Cooperation" project, sub-projects of the National Key R&D Program, sub-projects of the National Science and Technology Support Program, National Environmental Protection Public Welfare Fund projects, and National Natural Science Foundation projects. He has published more than 100 papers in academic journals such as Natural Communication, Remote Sensing of Environment, Environmental Science & Technology, Resources, Conservation & Recycling, and Landslides, and has won 6 provincial and ministerial-level awards.
