About the Speaker: Meng Qi is currently an Assistant Research Fellow at the School of Archaeology and Museology, Sichuan University. Her main research interests include Eurasian Steppe Archaeology and Pastoral Archaeology, focusing on exploring early cultural exchange, technology dissemination, trade networks, and population movement along the Silk Road. She has conducted and participated in several field archaeological excavations and surveys in Xinjiang, Qinghai, Sichuan, and other places. She has published 5 papers in Chinese and English journals such as 'Archaeology and Cultural Relics', PLOS ONE, etc., and has presided over or participated in several national and provincial scientific research projects.
