Introduction of Speaker: Mingjian Guo is a professor at the School of History and Heritage of Xiamen University. His main research interests are Neozoic archaeology and technological archaeology. He has been a visiting scholar at Yale University, an associate research curator at the National Museum of China, and a professor at Jinan University. He has been in charge of more than ten field archaeological projects, including the excavation of the Daolaidian site in Hebi, Henan Province, the excavation of the Xinglong site in Kangbao, Hebei Province, and the special investigation of the Xiong'an New Area Files, etc. He has also presided over a number of research projects, such as the National Social Science Foundation of China and the ACLS/Luce Foundation of the United States of America, and has prepared a series of research projects, such as "Report on the Systematic Archaeological Investigation of Xuehe Basin of East China". He has also prepared reports and scholarly works on field archaeology, and published more than three papers in the Archaeological Journal, Archaeology, Guangming Daily, and Archaeological Research in Asia.
