Introduction of Speaker: Ning Wang, Associate Researcher, Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is mainly engaged in the research of cosmogenic nuclides and global change, and specializes in the development and application of new methods of ¹⁴C chronology, and has achieved many results in the reconstruction of paleoenvironmental and human activity records, and the tracing of marine carbon cycle and biogeochemistry by the dual isotope coupling technique of ¹⁴C and ¹³C. He has presided over or participated in many projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and the National Key Research and Development Program of China (NKRDP). He has published more than thirty papers in Science Advances, GRL, PPP, QSR, Radiocarbon and Science Bulletin.
