Lecture Abstract:

Based on a review of the academic history of research on Chinese Neolithic lithic industries, and combined with practical insights from the organization and comprehensive study of lithic assemblages from the middle to late Yangshao period in the Central Plains and the late Neolithic period in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River in Southwest China, this lecture will propose perspectives on research pathways for Chinese Neolithic lithic industries.
