Abstract:
The Dawenkou Culture is a significant archaeological culture of the Late Neolithic period in the Haidai region. During this period, the subsistence economy exhibited high diversity both among different zones within the Haidai region and among different sites within the same zone. By elucidating the subsistence economy status of various Dawenkou Culture sites, this lecture will explore the interactive relationships between subsistence and factors such as geographic environment, climatic conditions, and forms of social organization.
