Yun Libing, male, associate professor, master's supervisor. He entered West China University of Medical Sciences in 1998 as an undergraduate student majoring in forensic medicine. In 2006, he graduated from the West China School of Basic Medical Sciences and Forensic Medicine of Sichuan University with a master's degree in forensic medicine and has been teaching at the university since then. He obtained a Ph.D. in forensic medicine in 2010 and visited Yale University in the United States from 2012 to 2013. He is currently a member of the Academic Committee of the Key Laboratory of Forensic Pathology of the Ministry of Public Security, a member of the Forensic Clinical Appraisal Professional Committee of the Sichuan Provincial Judicial Appraisal Association, and a science and technology expert of the Chengdu Public Security Bureau.
He is mainly engaged in teaching, research, and judicial appraisal of forensic pathology and forensic clinical medicine. His research interests are forensic pathology and forensic microbiology. As the project leader, he has undertaken the National Natural Science Foundation of China project, the open fund project of the Ministry of Education's key laboratory, and the open project of the Shanghai Key Laboratory of Forensic Medicine. He has also participated in several projects, including the key project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the key project of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Academician Consulting Research. Currently, he has published more than 30 papers in forensic journals such as Forensic Science International-genetics, International Journal of Legal Medicine, and Forensic Science International. He participated in the compilation of the national "13th Five-Year Plan" textbook "Forensic Clinical Medicine", as well as several monographs such as "Medical Damage Prevention Manual", "International Comparison of China's Modern Medical Science and Technology Innovation Capability", "Special Treatise on Forensic DNA Typing: Methodology", and "Compilation of Judicial Appraisal/Forensic Science Accreditation and Evaluation System". He has participated in 2 invention patents and the revision of the People's Republic of China Public Safety Industry Standard "Specification for Examination of Newborn Corpses".
