Department/Institution:West China School of Law
Research Field:DNA analysis, forensic anthropology

Personal Experience:

In 2017, I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Forensic Medicine from Sichuan University, and in 2022, I obtained a Ph.D. in Forensic Medicine from Sichuan University. In 2020, I obtained a scholarship from the China Scholarship Council's High-Level Postgraduate Program and studied at the DNA laboratory of the Institute of Forensic Medicine at the University of Cologne in Germany for one year. In July 2022, I joined the postdoctoral research station of the West China School of Basic Medical Sciences and Forensic Medicine at Sichuan University and the Forensic Biology Teaching and Research Section. Currently, as the principal investigator, I have been granted funding for one project from the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, one project from the Sichuan Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and one project from the college's postdoctoral youth fund. In the past five years, I have participated in three projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and one key research and development support plan - technology innovation research and development project from the Chengdu Science and Technology Bureau. I have published a total of 19 SCI papers and obtained 1 authorized patent. The research results have been successively published in authoritative journals in the field, such as Forensic Science International: Genetics and International Journal of Legal Medicine. I have assisted supervisors in guiding undergraduates in conducting innovation and entrepreneurship projects and the Basic Medical Innovation Research and Experimental Design Forum, and have assisted postdoctoral supervisors in guiding graduate students in conducting research.
