Educational Background

2018 – 2023Polytechnic University of Turin (Italy) Ph.D. in Materials Science and Technology; University of Evora (Portugal) Ph.D. in Earth and Space Science

▪ Research topic: Comparison of the environmental corrosion and microbial colonization and chemically modified layers of plasma etching and laser ablation on the surface of cleaned stone-based ancient buildings, and study the feasibility of plasma deposition for stone protection. The projects include traceability of limestone in Batalia Monastery architecture, the qualitative nature of microbial communities involved in biological erosion, the characterization of orange covering film on the surface of the monastery, the inhibitory effect of plasma etching on the reproduction of microorganisms on the surface of stone, the effect of plasma deposition film on stone resisting environmental corrosion, and comparing the cleaning effects of lasers of different irradiation types, etc.

2012 – 2014University of Illinois at Champagne (USA)Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering

▪ Research topic: "Exploration on the relationship between dimethyldiethoxysilane content and porosity of porous geological polymers".

2008 – 2012Zhejiang UniversityBachelor of Materials Science and Engineering

▪ Graduation Design: "Influence of Co oxides on the dehydrogenation performance of Li-B-N-H hydrogen storage materials".
